The need for a "giving culture"
MJHS believe that equity or "equal opportunity" is the cornerstone of civilization. Every human being must have roughly the same opportunity to succeed in life, irrespective of where or how s/he is born.
Unfortunately, this tends to not be true. The last two decades have witnessed a widening of the gap between the rich and poor in India. While the poor in India don't get a fair chance to succeed in life (lack of access to decent education, healthcare and livelihood opportunities), the well-off continue to enjoy benefits from a globalising economy- greater incomes, reducing taxes, 100% inheritance, etc.
MJHS believes that a caring and sensitive well-to-do section can change we should not allow this to let us off the hook when it comes to personal morality. Each of us could probably afford to give much more to private, charitable efforts to alleviate poverty and suffering.
In our society, we have hundreds of families who are not able to meet two ends and facing hardship in their life.
The situation is so bad that they are not able to eat two times a day properly. Further problems are so severe about education and medicine, that many people have are not able to buy medicines or they are not able to send their children to school for want of school of fees.
While watching this Bhavesh Shah inspired by philanthropic work of his mother and father started a trust to do something for society, to retune something to society.
The trust started the charities for very needy people. And once trust started the work it got great support from others in the form of money and volunteers to take the trust ti right direction.
Today greatest asset of the trust is their untiring pool of Volunteers whose unflinching support has taken the trust to the new height is assisting needy people.
With the support of volunteers and donors, trust is expanding to fulfil its objectives to assist needy people in every possible way.
The trust was formed on 12.10.2010 with a sole purpose of helping needy people. The following are trustees
